I recently finished making an oriental handle for a beautiful cabinet made by
Sam Carter. I made it out of brass and shaped it by doming it in a wooden bowl we turned from the end grain. It is bolted to the cabinet from the back of the handle which you can't see. (And Kenjin the workshop Wauzer)
I also made some sterling silver handles for another cabinet that Sam made and took to an exhibition last year called Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design. I reticulated the surface to give it an interesting texture.
